Green tea is well known to have a lot of good effects on your health. The downside is that green tea contains caffeine and many people are sensitive to that. But there is a solution. I have found a nutrition supplement with plenty of green tea but it is decaffeinated. Read about the health benefits and further down I will tell you more about the product.

Caffeine is not just bad, it is said to improve your cognitive performance and it can also help you to lose weight. It helps your body to burn a bigger portion of fat, while exercising, than your body would do without it. If you are like me, sensitive to it, it can cause anxiety. It also increases your heart rate and blood pressure which can make you feel uncomfortable and even deepen your anxiety. A cup of the tea can contain up to 80 mg of caffeine.

I always try to find the best way to stay healthy according to my daily situation. I have a family and my own company and both of them are a full time job. So I do not have enough time to work out. I also eat a considerable amount of fast food. To compensate that I have read and researched a lot about natural substances that can improve my health. And green tea is one of the best natural substances that I have found, that do just that.

Green tea is produced from the leaves of a plant called Camellia sinensis. Antioxidants are abundantly available in green tea. To prevent the antioxidants from being oxidized, the leaves are heated right after harvest. The type of antioxidants found in Camellia sinensis are polyphenols and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG)

Free radicals are produced in the same process that makes life possible. When the cells produce energy by using oxygen the free radicals is a by-product. It is atoms or molecules that steal electrons from other molecules and those are then turned into more radicals. A chain reaction has started and that is how cancer is started. Our body has a very advanced defence system against these bandits and EGCG, is part of that system.

Camellia sinensis is also known to decrease the chance of getting heart diseases. In Asia the amount of people getting cardiac and vascular problem is much less than in many countries in the western world. Asian countries, Japan for instance, have it in their culture to drink a lot of green tea. Many studies has been done that confirms this relationship

So what can we do about the fact that green tea has caffeine in it? The product I use has green tea in it but with a reduced amount of caffeine. The level is low enough not to cause anxiety but high enough to let your body use the good parts. The product is a complete nutrition supplement that has many other great substances that makes my life much better. And I am also pretty sure that it is going to prolong it.
